How do I reset account claiming for someone?

  • Click on Profiles on the left menu
  • Click on the modules dropdown arrow in the top navigation bar
  • Click on People in the dropdown menu
  • Navigate to the appropriate tab for the user type of the user whose password you are changing. (The name of the tab will vary based on your role).
  • Navigate to the appropriate tab on the left panel for the user type of the user whose password you are changing. (The name of the tab will vary based on your role).
  • Use the search bar to search for the user by user ID or name.
  • Click the Edit Profile icon on the far right of the user's record

  • Hover over the user's record and click the Details button on the far right side
  • In the Edit Profile popup, note that "Disable Account Claiming" is checked, because the user has already claimed their account. 
  • Uncheck the box next to "Disable account claiming" and click Save.
  • In the student's Details side panel, note that "Disable Account Claiming" is set to true, because the user has already claimed their account. Click the Edit Profile button at the bottom of the panel
  • Uncheck the box next to "Disable Account Claiming" and click Save.
