What happens when my password expires?


This video demonstrates what you will see when your password has expired in the NCEdCloud IAM service.

  • If your password has expired, you will be presented with this error message. Proceed to "CLICK HERE to change your password."
  • You will be presented with the Expired Password Update screen.
  • If your password has expired, you will be presented with the Update Password screen.
  • Type your new password into the first text field. Type the same password into the second text field.
  • If the passwords do not match between the two text fields, or if you have used the password previously, you will receive an error message.
  • If all password requirements have been met, the Next button will become available. Click Next and you will get the confirmation message, "Password was changed successfully."
  • Type your new password into the first text field. The criteria under "Your new password MUST be" will turn green as your password meets each one.
  • Type your new password into the second text field. If the passwords do not match between the two text fields, or if you have used the password previously, you will receive an error message when you click Go.
  •  If all password requirements have been met, clicking Go will take you to a confirmation page with the message, “Your password has been successfully changed.”
