How do I change my password?


This video demonstrates how to perform a password change on your own account in the NCEdCloud IAM service. Note that this training requires you to be logged in to NCEdCloud and that you know your current password.



This action is available to:

  • Click on Profiles on the left menu
  • In the My Profile tab, click the Change Password button 
  • Click on the dropdown arrow next to your name in the top navigation bar
  • Click on Change Password in the dropdown menu
  • In the Change Password popup, type your current password in the first text box.
  • Type your new password in the second text box, making sure that it meets the criteria in your password policy
  • Type your new password in the third text box to confirm it.
  • In the Change Password side panel, type your current password in the first text box.
  • Type your new password in the second text box, making sure that it meets the criteria in your password policy
  • Type your new password in the third text box to confirm it.

  • If the new password meets the criteria in your password policy and the passwords are the same between the 2nd and 3rd text boxes, green check marks will appear.
  • Click Save. 
  • If the new password meets the criteria in your password policy, all the checks will be green under "Your new password must be" and there will be no red exclamation points under "Do NOT use". 
  • If the passwords are the same between the 2nd and 3rd text boxes, the Save button will become available.
  • Click Save.
